I have a number of friends who spent several years in the sex industry (which is how I got the interviews with workers). It's an industry that I'm really divided about: on one hand, legalisation is great, all about harm minimisation and you're never going to stop people paying for sex. On the other hand, it can tend to do tremendous damage.
